SUSPECT

Suspect was Infocom's 15th game (and the third mystery story).
It was written by Dave Lebling, the co-author of the ZORK trilogy and
Enchanter, and sole-author of Starcross.

You are a reporter who was framed for a murder while attending a Halloween
party. You must discover who did this to you and fast, while the real murderer
is free to try to foil your every attempt...

This is the opposite to all previous Infocom mysteries. You are going to
end-up in jail if you do not succeed to clear your name,,,

Difficulty level: ADVANCED

Some special commands you should know:
ACCUSE (someone) OF (something)
AGAIN - or "G" for short, repeats your last command
ASK (someone) ABOUT (someone or something)
(someone), TELL ME ABOUT (someone or something) -- same thing with the above!
CONTINUE -- or "C" for short, see "GO TO"
DIAGNOSE -- checks yourself to see if you are missing an ear or something!
EXAMINE (something) -- the most usual adventure command!
EXAMINE (something) CAREFULLY -- stronger than EXAMINE!
GO TO (a location) -- This will take you to your destination, one location
at a time. At each location you pass through, you are informed of any events
that may occur there and you have to type CONTINUE or C in order to resume
your way. Helps if you are too bored to follow a map all the time...
SEARCH (someone or something)
SEARCH (someone) FOR (something specific) - for example search for a lollipop!
SHOW (something) TO (someone) -- show them something that might shock them!
TIME - what time is it?
WAIT FOR (someone or some amount of time) -- if anything exciting happens
(say, a ninja warrior approaches) waiting stops automatically.
WAIT UNTIL (time)

Suspect and Cutthroats were the only Infocom games to support the Commodore
PLUS 4.

EMULATOR NOTE: It is not recommended to play any Infocom game on CCS64, since
there is no way to turn off its 1541 emulation and the games load too slow.
On C64S, Vice, and PC64, though, any Infocom game will load instantly and you
will notice no delay for loading new text while playing, making the gameplay
much more enjoyable!

ALSO REMEMBER to answer NO at the Loading-from-a-1541 question, in order to
maintain high-speed emulator loading!

Well, that's all!
Best Regards
Dimitris
